The effects on qualitative enhance of the medical research in the medical information technique - focused on the PACS and the EMR System -

Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze effect of the medical research about the PACS and the EMR System by the hospital characteristic

Methods: For this purpose, an analysis was carried out to examine the features of hospitals by type, size, number of beds and departments, daily average visits of outpatients, average number of inpatients and number of medical equipment furnished.

Results: PACS and EMR systems were found to be helpful for medical research (1) PACS: type - general special hospital, number of bed - over 300, number of departments - over 20, daily average visits of outpatients - over 500, average number of inpatients - over 300, (2) EMR system: type - general special hospital, number of bed - over 300, number of departments - over 20, daily average visits of outpatients - over 500, average number of inpatients - over 300, number of medical equipment furnished - over10)
From the findings of this study as above, it may be concluded that the introduction of PACS and EMR systems had influence upon the medical study.
The medical information technology of PACS and EMR system make qualitative enhance of medical research and contribute at the medicine development.

Conclusions: It must reflect the role of the medical information technique when the medical policy establishes, because development of the medicine takes the influence according to the operation ability of medical information and medical equipment.
